This role will report to the IT Salesforce Center of Excellence leader. This individual will need to work and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders understanding business needs and identifying opportunities for enhanced features through Salesforce expertise. This individual must also be able to work directly with cross-functional technical teams including Salesforce developers, integration engineers, ERP specialists, and 3rd party SaaS service providers. This person must be able to work in both a project-based and agile working environment and have the ability support related activities such capturing user requirements, development and capacity planning, various testing cycles, documentation, and production support.Responsibilities of the IT Business Systems Analyst•This person serves as a liaison between business (BPOs), Vendor (SIs) and Kite IT Teams for Salesforce related functionality.•Partner with the business users, IT and vendors to analyze and scope new enhancements for Salesforce applications•Serve as subject matter expertise, provide analytical skills identify alternatives and reusable components across workstreams, support future Salesforce custom application implementations and migrations•Lead re-engineering workshops with business and IT stakeholders, create and maintain process documentation•Actively participate in the business analysis process, work alongside business groups to capture requirements and their priorities, document detailed functional requirements; help translate those to Salesforce Technical requirements.•Champion continuous process improvement across the product development lifecycle•Identify areas of improvement and implement solutions in process.•Drive best business practices for Salesforce implementations•Maintain system reports and dashboards to track trends in usage, adoption and other key metrics. Monitor logs to identify issues.•Help configure user permissions in Salesforce, conduct application demos, coordinate testing and documentation of GxP requirements•Support development of business requirements and cases for new business capabilities•Perform impact assessment on new changing products capabilities, including impact to integrated (Boundary) systems•Coordinate testing of changes and enhancement with the business to ensure successful delivery•Advanced planning and organizational skills, including ability to follow tasks/assignments through to completion•Provide application support and assist with application maintenance•Participate in needed software configuration, documentation, and validation as needed.Basic Qualifications:•MA / MS Degree with 6+ years in business or technical discipline OR•BS / BA Degree with 8+ years in business or technical discipline OR•High School Degree with 12+ years a business or technical disciplinePreferred Qualifications:•BA / BS Degree in Science, Business, Information Technology and/or Engineering•5-8 years of experience as Business Analyst in pharmaceutical/biotech industry•Minimum of 3 years of salesforce.com analyst/administrator experience required•Salesforce Certified Administrator Certification - Minimum•Previous experience as a Salesforce Administrator/BA is essential•3+ years of experience with Salesforce.com setup and configuration•Working knowledge of Salesforce Lightening Platform and in particular Service Cloud, Health Cloud and Communities/Experience Cloud•Excellent knowledge of requirements gathering techniques and ability to run workshops.•Experience in JIRA, Confluence, any project management tool: MS project, Smartsheet, etc.•Experience building reports using Lightening Platform•Frontend testing frameworks is a plus•Experience in Project Management, preferably with Agile Methodologies or SCRUM Framework•Proven ability in authoring technical documents and business processes•Experience in standard software development methodologies (Agile, Rapid, Waterfall, etc.)•Meaningful team ethic and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams•Good analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and understand complex issues and then developing appropriate cross-functional solutions•Required in depth knowledge of the Delivery and BA process, and be able to work with development team to provide clear Business and Technical Requirements•Experience using functional unit tests throughout development to ensure quality.•Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and organizational skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings are required•Must be able to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams•Deep problem-solving skills are essential•Pharmaceutical / Lifesciences industries experience a plus#LI-ML1#IND123The salary range for this position is: $146,200.00 - $189,200.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
