IT Application Specialist II - Experienced Salesforce Administrator
Job Description

Position Overview

This position will be accountable for the implementation, enhancement, successful performance and security of various applications including, but not limited to, Salesforce. Responsibilities include performing functional configuration and advising on customization and maintenance of Enterprise's Salesforce org and other deployed solutions. Additional responsibilities include ensuring that solutions developed and/or supported by the Application Development Team are being utilized at an optimal level throughout the organization.

Primary Areas of Responsibility

  • Support/Implementation
  • Monitor end-user usage of systems and performs daily administrative tasks
  • Analyze and implement requested changes to existing Salesforce configuration
  • Complete technical service requests and provides business application support
  • Participate in ongoing system maintenance and data cleansing, system cleanup and data quality review
  • Management of application permissions to ensure auditable data transactions, and separation of duty audit controls
  • Supports the application life cycle (analyze, build, test, implement, train and support) of developed/deployed software systems.
  • Ability to create and manage workflows rules, data validation and triggers
  • Create training and supporting guides/materials
  • Report/Dashboard Creation and Maintenance
  • Develop meaningful reports and data dashboards to monitor process performance
  • Create drill-down capability to allow quick assessment of causes of performance issues
  • Analyze data to identify areas of poor performance to address with improvement activities

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university preferred
  • Minimum 4 years in a technical support role
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Salesforce Admin required. Ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating complex workflows and providing technical plans/solutions to business teams. Must be well versed in creating Salesforce reports and dashboards along with detailed page designs and layouts. Experience with Visualforce Pages and Lightning Components preferred.
  • Prior experience in the financial services industry is a plus
