- Certifications to include:
- Salesforce Certified Administrator and
- Salesforce Platform Developer I
- 4-6 years' experience with development and implementation of Salesforce architecture and objects (standard and custom) as well as a solid understanding of platform technical requirements, system configuration, and user authorizations.
- Architectural design of solutions, including data modeling and integration strategies.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using various integration techniques and APIs.
- Experience with Sales Cloud.
- Experience with Git-based version control.
- Experience with Salesforce DX CI/CD toolset, optimization & troubleshooting of relevant processes.
- Experience with multiple salesforce org environment and troubleshooting.
- Experience and general understanding of networking technologies, firewalls to troubleshoot networking issues and determine root causes (i.e., Salesforce versus network cause).
Required Skills: Administrator/Developer
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot and debug to resolve issues, or develop/present recommendations, in a timely fashion.

Job Description: Administrator/DeveloperWe are seeking an Administrator/Developer with expertise in business technology including the Salesforce platform. You will work with a team charged with developing and delivering capabilities to support business growth across a sector of our client's company. The successful candidate will effectively and confidently provide administrative, development and integration support across established and emerging business technologies and product applications including Salesforce. Ideal candidate will be pro-active, process-oriented, and results-driven individuals able to effectively leverage technology to collaborate with team members.
Work Location: Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely. Based on multiple factors, remote work may be a possibility for this position, at the discretion of the business.
Key Roles, Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Administrator/Developer
- Maintain, design, architect, develop and implement business technology capabilities based on analysis and identification of key business needs, process standardization and automation opportunities.
- Establish and evolve collaborative relationships across the organization to ensure delivery/implementation of essential technology capabilities for cross-functional business processes.
- Gather and transform customer requirements into a high-level (architectural) solution or supporting model and progress to a final design and build solution with executable plan.
- Develop new functionality within Salesforce including custom objects, custom fields, advanced formulas, flows, process builder workflows, dynamic lightning components and page layouts, complex validation rules, assignment rules, and analytics.
- Prepare and conduct code and architectural reviews including data modeling solutions and integration strategies.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of project plans and execution to ensure technical and work scope requirements, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
- Diagnose issues at system level, including Windows/Linux operating system, SQL Server, web services, and application integration.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and manage deployment between Salesforce environments.
- Ensure that custom code and configurations comply with best practices, security guidelines, and industry standards. Able to develop, change and implement custom code on platform.
- Develop reports and dashboards for various teams and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity.
- Field tech support requests and periodic hands-on system support.
- Collaborate to provide best practices and tips on Salesforce usage including training, documentation, and support as necessary. Performs other duties as required.
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: Administrator/Developer
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field. Certification: Salesforce Platform Developer II
- Architectural design of complex solutions, including data modeling and integration strategies. Experience with Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud
- Strong analytical, reporting, project management and communication skills
- Organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
- Familiar with Agile management philosophy and Scrum methodology.
