You will support business critical and customer facing systems that Axon and our customers depend on every single day. As a Salesforce Revenue Cloud Business Analyst, you will help to discover and analyze business problems, evaluate incoming requests, gather and document requirements, and recommend world class solutions within the Salesforce Framework. You will become a subject matter expert on our Salesforce CPQ Ecosystem and work closely with the business on understanding and fixing key business issues.

In this role you will develop a deep understanding of Axon's business processes, and use that knowledge to enable delivery of innovative solutions to business problems. You will be exposed to and enable solutions for many functions across the business including Accounting, Finance, Sales & Marketing.

What You'll Do

Location: Remotely from USA AND/OR Onsite at our Scottsdale, AZ office
Reports to: Salesforce Business Engagement Manager

  • Work closely with stakeholders and development teams to analyze business needs, propose direction, document detailed requirements with measurable acceptance criteria, for stakeholder review, development, and implementation
  • Perform fit/gap analyses between business requirements and out-of-the-box features of Salesforce CPQ & Billing
  • Create functional design specifications for system customization and integrations
  • Work closely with the Salesforce Revenue Cloud Team, including Architects and Developers, to leverage out-of-the-box features and thoughtfully design customization to maximize user efficiency and minimize ongoing maintenance costs
  • Partner closely with the Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect to ensure functional requirements are clear, complete & measurable.
  • Work closely with the different Salesforce teams to ensure their output delivers on the business need
  • Partner with testing resources to ensure test scripts are in place, adequate test coverage is provided and quality product is delivered to business stakeholders for testing
  • Use Azure DevOps to manage requirements, test cases, bugs, and tasks

What you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Computer Information Systems
  • Current Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • 4+ years of experience as an Administrator in an enterprise-class CRM or ERP system
  • Additionally, 2+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst in an enterprise-class CRM or ERP system
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements
  • Ability to work with a diverse set of users from executive leadership to application users and to be able to communicate effectively across these groups
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead functional meetings

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Consultant, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator preferred
  • Demonstrated ability as a self-learner via Salesforce Trailheads
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ is a plus
  • Experience working within medium to large public enterprises
  • Experience working with Agile development teams and work management software (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira)
  • Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and best practices

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 105,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 175,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 136,125 in the lowest geographic market and USD 226,875 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
