About the job:

The American Red Cross is searching for a self-motivated Business Analyst to support the CRM/Salesforce Business Application for our Biomedical Services modernization efforts. This position will be working on a multi-year initiative focusing on large-scale software implementations for Biomedical Services.

The position is a part of the Biomed Business Systems Integration (BSI) team and works closely with IT teams. The Business Analyst- CRM/Salesforce has the responsibility to work with various lines of business in Biomedical Services to identify, prioritize and document critical digital business requirements in alignment with the strategic roadmap of the organization. The position reports to the Biomedical Salesforce Platform Director.

The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States and work an East Coast schedule.

What you will be doing:
Support the Salesforce Platform Director
Lead business process owners and project SMEs in the development of business requirements, support the backlog of business user stories and enhancements. Act as a Business Application SME.
Work with technical team members to groom the backlog, oversee the lifecycle of the requirement to ensure the final requirement meets the business' intent
Lead business activities that support user experience journey mapping, use case development, user story definition. Lead the business team in establishing strong business requirements. Would be great if they had some past BA experience in requirement development.
Support the business process owners in evaluating the technical solutions proposed by IT
Lead release management activities.
Lead UAT activities
Lead training development activities
Support business process owners in enhancing current business process, based on technology improvements
Support deployment planning activities
Must be comfortable with assisting the organization in the transition from waterfall to agile methodologies.

Scope: Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Apply subject matter knowledge. Capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.

Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. The American Red Cross does not sponsor employment visas.

What we need from you:

3-5+ years of experience with Salesforce administration and configuration skills, preferably with the Sales Cloud solution required.
Minimum 7 years overall experience required.
Sales process experience, in Salesforce preferable
Strong ability to write functional requirements from the business perspective.
Proven experience in Business Analysis and User Acceptance Testing experience; documenting requirements, journey mapping, use case development, user story definition.
Experience in leading the development of a UAT approach, which includes writing test scripts and facilitating the execution of UAT
Experience in supporting the development of a training approach, virtual methodologies, coordinate or be experienced in training material content development (preferred only)
Proficient with agile methodology and agile tools, Jira, Trello, etc. as well as proven application release management capabilities.
Experience in end-to-end large scale system CRM implementations, preferably Salesforce experience
Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive change.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information systems or related.

The legal stuff:
Essential Functions/Physical Requirements: Depending on work assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information. Overall mobility is essential. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle and working under challenging conditions.

Work Conditions: Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to emergency services relief work. May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state and Red Cross system. Because the Red Cross is a disaster response organization, staff may be asked to be on 24-hour call during period of major disaster.

What's in it for you:
For those candidates located in Colorado or Connecticut, the annual salary range for this position is $100K+. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that the American Red Cross sets salary ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the job or employee resides.
