Oloop is a Ridge (Silver) Salesforce Consulting Partner and we're looking for an experienced Manager, Business Development to help grow our Salesforce practice. Opportunities abound at Oloop, which means this role can grow from an individual contributor to a managerial and/or leadership position. You will be working remotely with travel expected when it's safe to do so again.

The Manager, Business Development is responsible for all client-related business development activities. Success requires the ability to uncover, define, and close strategic projects with Salesforce stakeholders and/or alliances teams. The selected candidate will interact strategically with the leadership team and other stakeholders to identify, cultivate, and land on new business. He or she will sell our Salesforce Consulting Services to Salesforce.com customers, which includes Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Mulesoft, FSL, and our Advisory and Managed Services. The position involves quota-based sales, and the ideal candidate will have experience working in this capacity to hit targets.

The things you'll do:

  • Identify, develop and close on new services sales (new logos) to meet and exceed quota targets

  • Fulfill the role of trusted advisor and develop deep strategic relationships with our customers

  • Sell to the territory directly or through the Partner ecosystem

  • Manage accounts throughout the entire sales process, while maintaining effective relationships in sales, marketing, pre-sales, and delivery support, to align all stakeholder interests and ensure customer success

  • Develop and manage relationships with the Salesforce Alliances and Sales teams

  • Participate in the development and presentation of sales collateral

  • Onsite customer presentations with the C-suite to negotiate and close strategic, complex deals

What you need to succeed

  • 2-3+ years in a customer-facing position as a sales professional selling Salesforce consulting services with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding quotas

  • Knowledge and relationships in the Salesforce ecosystem, including how to navigate the Salesforce sales and alliances teams

  • Experience with complex, escalated customer situations and ability to navigate mid-market to large organizations to gain executive level buy-in

  • Expertise facilitating meetings and presenting to an executive level audience in a concise, inspirational, and convincing manner

  • Knowledge of sales organizations, professional services, and effective approaches to navigate the B2B procurement process

  • Ability to rapidly assess customer environments from a business process, organizational, and technological perspective, while effectively communicating opportunities for growth

  • Strong knowledge of business processes (Sales, Marketing, Service, Support) and the ability to link business processes with product/technical solutions

  • Ability to collaborate with partners, marketing, and inside sales to build and execute complex account strategies and sales plays

  • Nurture and develop strong relationships with existing customers and extend our reach within their organizations

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as reporting and presentation expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Ability to travel as needed
